2.0       Site Matrix Table Description

The Site Matrix Table lists the fifty sites (arranged by site category), as well as the Meadowlands-wide category, along the vertical axis and the ten data categories along the horizontal axis, with each cell corresponding to a site and data category. As previously stated, only data that is useful for the site’s intended purpose is included. A number from “1” to “4” is assigned to indicate the level of usefulness for the data corresponding to the site and data category the represented by the cell. In general, Level 1 represents the most useful data and Level 4 represents the least useful data. If existing data within a category falls under more than one of the levels (i.e. the Survey, Maps, and GIS category contains a two-year-old topographic survey and a ten-year-old aerial map), the most detailed and current level applicable was assigned (i.e. Level 1).

The numbers represent the following levels of usefulness for all data categories except B: Real Estate/Ownership:

1 – Data is detailed and current (within past five years)

2 – Data is detailed, but slightly older, and/or only for a portion of the site (within past five to ten years)

3 – Data is general or preliminary, for only a portion of the site, and/or dated (more than ten years old)

4 – Little to no data

For B: Real Estate/Ownership, the numbers represent the following levels:

1 – Site is currently owned entirely by NJMC

2 – Site is under acquisition by NJMC

3 – Site is publicly owned or jointly owned by NJMC

4 – Site has private or unknown owner(s)
