Site Description<\/strong>: Amerada Hess restored this site\u00a0between 1995 and 1997\u00a0as mitigation for permitted marsh fills. Prior to restoration, the site supported a monoculture of common reed (Phragmites australis). Site restoration included the removal of previously placed dredged material and planting of smooth cordgrass (Spartina alterniflora<\/em>). Currently, the site is dominated by S. alterniflora<\/em>, with inclusions of Phragmites<\/p>\n
