Searching the MERI-L Online Catalog: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Type in a search word or phrase or use the Browse Index button.
2. Use the AND-OR-NOT droplist to the left of each search field to limit or expand your search.
3. To edit your search: Clicking the Clear button will reset the search form; hitting the Esc key will clear individual search fields.
4. Click Search.
5. Your search results will be displayed as a report.
6. You have three types of reports to choose from: Summary (default), Brief and Full. To switch between them use the droplist at the top and bottom of each report.
7. All materials listed in the MERI-L Online Catalog and the Digital Meadowlands Reports Database are available through the MERI Library.
8. Click Help or visit Search Tips & Tricks for additional information about using the Catalog.
