• Promote regional sharing of information resources with District municipalities to help them better manage municipal assets, plan for improvements and prepare for and combat emergencies.
• Collect, analyze and communicate environmental information and provide reliable baselines for assessing environmental improvements in the Meadowlands District.
• Promote research and development of new technologies to address the legacy of environmental problems affecting the District.
